Modes of operation

Safety and easiness were the main vectors that inspired Vision Control’s^® operability. The units can be adapted to various needs and different control options:

Manual operation from one or from both sides
Thumbwheel
a) Material:	PVC (standard): black
	Aluminum (optional): white, gray, black
b) Use:	In interior applications where fast, direct drive action on the louvers is desired
c) Shapes:	Full thumbwheel for 1-sided or 2-sided control (180 degree full turn including all positions)
	Fan-shaped Thumbwheel for 1-sided control (115 degree turn including fully closed and fully opened positions)
Crank handle
a) Material:	PVC: white or black
	Metal zinc (NEW!): white or gray
b) Use:	In interior or exterior applications where installation constraints require the operator to be located on the face of the frame, through indirect drive action transferred inside the gear housing
c) Optional:	Removable crank handles available (e.g. for psychiatric facilities or correctional institutions).
Knob
a) Material:	Aluminum (optional): white, gray, black
b) Use:	Same as crank handle
c) Optional:	Same as crank handle
Extension Pole
a) Material:	Telescopic pole with 4’ – 8’ span
b) Use:	For out-of-reach applications (e.g. transom lites, clerestories, skylights etc.)

Electrical operation
a) Material:	Standard AC voltage motor and various switch controls according to your needs
	Low-voltage motor 30 DC and various switch controls according to your needs
b) Use:	For out-of-reach locations (e.g. skylights, clerestories, transom lites, etc.)
	Where control is required from a remote location
	When simultaneous and synchronized control of several glass panels is desired (e.g. curtain wall, conference room wall, etc.)
	When requiring an intelligent building control system (motors can be connected to a computerized programmable logic controller)
	When timer or sun-sensor controls are needed
