Curtain wall applications

Thanks to its high STC rating,Vision Control^® is the ideal louvered glazing product that provides and effective sound control for curtain wall applications, diminishing street and air traffic noise. Its versatility also recommends it for room darkening during audiovisual presentations in conference rooms, executive lounges, auditorium, and classrooms.

Where several units need to operate concurrently, Vision Control^® motors offer electrical control for full span rotation or factory-preset positions. This results in a homogenous appearance of the louver positioning as seen from both the interior ad the exterior of the building.

For special corner conditions where butt-glazing is required, Vision Control^® can be furnished with exterior lites extended beyond the IGU spacers. The offset portions of the glass are able butt up to each other at the corner for a streamlined, clean effect, avoiding the need to use a vertical mullion at the corner of the building. The backside of the glass can have ceramic frit at the vertical edge or be painted with silicone, concealing the empty space inside the corner, which may be filled with rigid insulation.
